I picked up the phone and could hear noise like people chatting in an office in the background. I called out 'hello' twice but nobody answered. Then I warned them that if they didn't respond in 3 seconds I'd block the number, counting down out loud. They just ended the call, so I went ahead and blocked it straight away.

Got a message saying "Royal Mail: Pay your dispatch fee now at [#]postfee[###] or your mail gets sent back." First off, I already paid for delivery when I checked out. Also, legit Royal Mail texts never start like that. Total scam, watch out!

I got a couple of texts claiming to be from Nat West, saying someone called Amy Watson had been added as a new payee on my account. Both messages had different phone numbers and came within like two hours. There was a link in the text if I hadn’t given permission, which felt a bit dodgy to me.

I got a text from 'NATWEST' saying that someone named AMY WATSON had been added as a new payee on my online account. It told me if it wasn't me to 'secure here' with a dodgy link. Obviously, it's a scam because I haven't got an account with NatWest at all. Pretty obvious fake to me.

I got a message saying I needed to pay a dispatch fee for Royal Mail, with a link included. Luckily, my phone flagged it as spam, so I didn’t bother clicking on anything.
