Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, spoke nicely with a proper British accent. It was one of those pre-recorded messages about some investigation. I didn’t bother staying on the line and just hung up. Typical rubbish.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, spoke really posh with a proper British accent. It sounded like the normal rubbish about some investigation thingy. I just hung up straight away and didn’t bother hearing the rest of their spiel. Pretty sure it was one of those pre-recorded scams.
