I've had a call from this number before, 01316619187, and it’s exactly the same - some robotic voice saying that funds have been withdrawn from your bank. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman saying money was taken from my Amazon account and more than a grand taken out via Western Union. I just ended the call right away.

Make sure you block the number and send a report to 7726. It’s also a good idea to write to your MP with a couple of questions: why can’t we report scam calls straight to the police’s 'Action Fraud' system anymore? And why hasn’t the phone industry rolled out Caller ID Authentication tech to help cut down on all these scam calls? If you get scam texts, forward them to 7726. Plus, any scam emails or screenshots of fraudulent texts should be sent along to the police at '[email protected]' so they can look into it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT. They tried to get me to let them on my computer and asked for info - total scam! Don’t fall for it, they’re definitely trying to trick you.

Got a robocall from some scammer pretending to work for VISA's fraud team. They said there was an amazon order and some overseas cash transfer from my bank. Seriously, don’t fall for it - they use whatever you tell them to steal from you. Just hang up straight away!
