Got a message supposedly from HSBC, but I dont even have an account there. It said there was an attempt to make a payment from a new device and if it wasn’t me, I should go to some site like [#]hsbc.security-authorise[###]. Definitely looks dodgy to me!

Got a text from 07484 791994 saying it was from HSBC, telling me someone tried to make a payment from a new device today. It asked me to check a link https//hsbc.security-authorise[###] if it wasn’t me. I don’t even have an HSBC account, so heads up - don’t click that link if you do bank with them! Sounds fishy to me.

Got a message from someone saying they were Royal Mail. It said I needed to pay a dispatch fee right away at this weird link or else my parcel would get sent back. Definitely sounded fishy to me, like a scam trying to get money. Couldn't be bothered with it and just ignored the whole thing.
