I received a text this morning at 03:28 purportedly from a DPD courier, stating I needed to pay £1.99 for a re-delivery of my parcel, which I’ve already sorted directly with DPD. Like many others, I chose not to engage with this message. Is there a proper channel through which I can inform DPD about this? I got a message telling me I’d missed a parcel and needed to pay £1.99 for it to be sent again. I’ve used DPD before and they try up to three times without charging, plus they leave a card if no one’s in. This feels like a total rip-off. Absolutely, I can relate. The notification we received was along the lines of 'sorry we couldn't reach you', but thanks to our Ring doorbell, we were able to take a look. Lo and behold, there was no delivery driver in sight!
