Had a call from a woman with an Asian accent doing some kind of survey, asking loads of questions. I could barely catch what she was saying. She asked if I own the house, what brand my TV was, and what dishwasher brand I’d got. The weird part was she already knew my postcode and address, which really made me feel uneasy.

My mum got this call from someone claiming to be locals raising funds for our church. They asked her for her bank info, and she actually gave it to them because she trusted their story. Total scam, really dodgy.
