I got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft’s Tech Support, saying there were lots of problems with my computer. I’m working from home using a company laptop that’s properly licensed. When I asked for more info like the computer’s ID so I could check with our IT team, she just told me to trust her and warned that if I hung up, my Microsoft account would be shut down. It was obvious this was a classic scam that’s been going around to loads of people before.
