Somebody called pretending to be from Amazon, saying an iPhone had been ordered on my account and asked me to share a code they’d sent via text. I decided to mess with them and gave a totally bogus number instead. She got really angry, started yelling at me, then lost it even more when I said I was double-checking my Amazon account. Before I knew it, she’d hung up after just a few seconds. I knew right away it was a scam, but it’s crazy how these types manage to fool so many people :-(
