Received a message from the Post Office stating there's an outstanding shipping fee of £2.45 on my parcel. They warned that if I don't settle it, my parcel could be sent back. Seems a bit dodgy to me - could very well be a scam!

Be wary of this dodgy site claiming to be linked to Royal Mail, where they’re fishing for your credit card details! I received a message from the Post Office stating, "You have an outstanding shipping charge of £2.45 for your parcel. Failure to settle the fee may result in the return of your parcel." They then directed me to a sketchy website to "clear up" the payment. Avoid this trap!

Received a message stating, ‘Our driver, Alex, was unable to reach you today! To arrange a redelivery, please visit ...’ 1. I haven’t ordered anything recently. 2. I was at home working and had a clear view of my front door, so it raised my suspicions. I decided to verify through the official DPD Local website, but it didn’t recognise the tracking number they provided. When I entered that web link into my browser, I was greeted with a ‘deceptive website warning’, indicating it might very well be a scam! Best to disregard any messages from that number!

On 17th August 2021 at precisely 14:55, I got a rather curious text from the number +44 7484 392242. It read: "DPD: Apologies, our driver Alex was unable to reach you today! If you wish to arrange for a re-delivery, please visit ..." However, when I entered that web address into my browser, it flagged a warning about a potentially deceptive site. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

On the 17th of August in 2021, I received a text that was completely empty from this number. It seems like they might have been trying to prompt me into reaching out, either with a call or another message. I've since chosen to block the number entirely.
