Got a text claiming to be from HSBC, saying someone tried to make a payment from a device I hadn’t registered. Didn’t bother opening the message because I rang HSBC directly to check if they’d text me - they confirmed they hadn’t sent anything like that. Pretty clear it was a scam then.
