There was a bit of a pause before she finally started talking. She said she was calling about my BT broadband, which is strange since I haven’t got it installed at all. I just hung up straight away.

I picked up and all I got was quiet, so’m thinking it’s some kinda scam.

Got a scam call from a woman with an Asian accent who knew my name and address. She claimed to be from BT, saying our internet was at risk because our network had gone from private to public. Thing is, we haven’t used BT in ages. When I questioned her about it, she quickly got rude and started shouting. I had no choice but to end the call because she just wouldn’t stop.
