Got a call out of the blue early in the morning at about 8:40 on the 15th of January. It was one of those automated voices claiming to be from HMRC saying they’d sent me a letter back and now they were going to take some enforcement steps. They told me to press one if I wanted to speak to someone. It's definitely a scam - I’ve got an HMRC online account and they always just email me if there’s any important news.
