Got a message from dpd about some parcel that wasn’t delivered and I need to pay extra postage? Didn’t order anything from them, so this has to be a scam!

I recently got a message from DPD saying my parcel was held up because of an unpaid delivery charge. Didn’t expect to pay anything extra, as I thought shipping was included. Had to sort it out quickly or risk not getting my package. Bit annoying having to chase it up when I assumed everything was settled at purchase. Hopefully next time it goes smoother without surprise fees.

Got a message from +44 7483819447 pretending to be from DPD saying my parcel couldn’t be delivered because of some unpaid shipping charge. It asked me to go to (##}dpd redelivery81 4ip(###/fee! to arrange a redelivery. Thing is, I wasn’t waiting on any parcel at all. Plus, there was no tracking number and that website didn’t look like a proper DPD site at all. The real DPD URL is something like [#]f#]dpd[###)/. Seriously, you’ve got to watch out these days or you’ll end up getting scammed!
