I got a call from a guy claiming to be with Amazon, saying someone was trying to purchase an iPhone using my account. He mentioned that a code had been sent to my phone and also knew my email address. When he asked for the code, I wouldn’t give it to him. That’s when he started getting really annoyed and told me to “stop acting like a kid” 🙄. Right away, I spotted it was a scam. I even heard other voices in the background, like they were all reading from the same script. If I’d shared the code, they’d probably have been able to reset my Amazon password and get into my account.
