My sister got a call from this number 07483318218, the person said he was there to fix her internet. But she hadn’t reported any issues. It felt like he was trying to find out how to get inside the home. I checked with BT and they confirmed they don’t ring mobiles out of the blue like that. Definitely a scam, better to block it.

I got a call from this number, and the person on the other end spoke with an Indian accent, saying they were from BT OpenReach fixing the internet and phone lines. They asked if they could come inside the house. I said I wasn’t convinced, and then suddenly they got nervous and just ended the call.
