Got a robo call saying it was Visa about some fraud issue. Just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a missed call but couldn’t ring back straight away ‘cause the signal here is pretty poor. I got a notification for it though and thought better of calling back. Lucky I looked up the number before picking up!

I got a video call through WhatsApp from this number, but I didn't pick up. The weird thing is, I’m pretty sure I had it blocked already, so no idea how it managed to ring on my phone in the first place.

Some bloke called saying he was from paypal, but it was totally dodgy. Tried asking for my card details, so I just hung up. Classic scam stuff these days, really annoying!

I got this text saying it's from Virgin Media, telling me they appreciated my call earlier. It had a number, 08706454888, to ring back if needed. They said their lines are open from 8 in the morning till midnight. There was also a bit about texting STOP if you don't want to get messages anymore. It mentioned the call might cost 13p per minute plus any network charges. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

Watch out! There’s a huge con going around where callers pretend to be Argos and want you to text to a pricey number. Don’t fall for it! If you get one of these calls, report it straight to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or check their site for more info. Let’s all do our bit and stop these nasty scammers from carrying on.

Got a text supposedly from the DVLA saying if I needed to contact them, I should call this DVIA number. I checked with the DVLA and they told me they don’t send texts like that at all. Turns out it was a total scam!
