I’ve just had a rather dodgy phone call from this number. The chap on the other end was pretending to represent HMRC, claiming there’s some sort of legal action because I supposedly haven’t been paying my taxes. He mentioned that a letter had been dispatched to me, insinuating I was avoiding it. Total scam! When I told him I’d be contacting HMRC directly for clarification, he got a bit twitchy and abruptly hung up, threatening further action. What a con!
