Got a call supposedly from Citizens Advice Bureau, but that didn’t fly with me. I told the bloke straight away I deal with CAB every day (which is true) and found it worrying he even had my name. I politely told him to jog on and warned him I’d be reporting this scam to the real CAB, passing on his number for them to sort out. It’s quite alarming to think about what might happen if they ring someone more vulnerable than me!
