Called at 16:38 on the 10th of April 2024, the guy spoke with a really thick Eastern European accent that was nearly impossible to understand. When I asked him to repeat himself, he just got all irritable and started sounding quite aggressive. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam or attempt at extortion. Definitely dodgy, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call on 1/12/23 from a bloke who sounded quite young. He was really confident and started talking about the increase in gas and electricity prices. Told him I don't deal with calls like that and quickly ended it. Felt like a scam right from the start.

Someone named Paul rang me asking if I wanted a brochure on wills. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he kept going on, so I ended up hanging up and then blocked the number.

I’d already been rung three times this morning, so when I finally picked up, a very courteous chap was on the line asking if he could post me a brochure from Goodwills about drafting or revising my Will. I told him I actually work for a financial advisory company connected with solicitors who handle Will writing, so I didn’t need any leaflets. He was quite understanding and ended the call politely. I’ve blocked the number now to avoid more unwanted calls.
