Claims to be associated with a life insurance provider. I felt compelled to transfer funds to a firm calling itself Jubilee Cover Limited, emphasising that they should spell out "Limited" in full rather than abbreviating it to "Ltd." They also requested a photograph of the credit card used for the transaction, but I didn't send any images.

I've encountered the same foreign accent repeatedly, each time from a different individual. I’ve received calls from five separate numbers, all regarding boiler cover. They even recited my old address, which left me baffled. When they inquired about my new address, I decided enough was enough, hung up, and subsequently blocked the number. To clarify, I’ve never taken out insurance for my boiler.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a government department, saying they were returning my call about issues I'd supposedly brought up about my Will. Thing is, I work in financial services, and my Will was done by my sister who’s a solicitor. I’ve never asked anything about it, so this feels like a total scam to me. On 4th November 2022, I got a call from this number and immediately thought it was some kind of scam or fraud attempt. The guy on the phone did know a few bits about me like my name, but a lot of what he said was off, like claiming I had products I actually don’t own. When I questioned him about how he got my details and phone number, he got pretty snappy and just hung up on me.

This afternoon I got a call on my landline from a mobile number that popped up on my caller ID, but I didn’t recognise it at all. It wasn't in any contacts I have saved. A young lass with a Liverpool accent started talking about some Royal Liverpool voucher I supposedly received but haven't used yet, and apparently it's about to expire. I decided to humour her and asked if I had life insurance, if I’d made a will, and if they’d been reviewed recently, like within the last two years. It was a total con right from the start. She ended the call abruptly, so I’ve blocked the number now.
