Some bloke called Dexter rang me on my home phone, saying he was from Sky about my Sky equipment insurance. Thing is, I never gave Sky my landline number and it’s not registered under my name! He was pushing some discounted cover for a single payment. When I told him I don’t actually have that cover, he insisted it was part of my monthly bill (which is definitely not true). After he kept going on for ages, over five minutes, I just hung up - took him too long to even get around to asking for my bank details. Total scam if you ask me.
