Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, saying they had deals to reduce my phone bill. It got dodgy when the lady said she’d get her manager on the line and then he suddenly promised my bill would be cut for the next couple of years. That’s when I realised this wasn’t my actual EE provider so I just ended the call. Would advise everyone to be careful and not share any details with these sorts of calls.

took ages to reply, could hear loads of crackling and weird sounds, then they just cut the call off.

I picked up thinking it was one of my mum and dad's neighbours since it showed as a mobile, but as soon as I said hello the line just went silent. Quite annoying really!
