I received a voicemail that was quite concerning. It felt extremely dodgy, and I have a strong suspicion it was a scam. I can’t imagine the real HMRC would resort to making threats like the ones these blokes did in their message. They mentioned something about arresting me for tax evasion, which seems very off.

Got a message with a recorded voice saying HMRC have spotted lots of issues with my tax return. Total scam - HMRC never reaches out like that, so be careful!
