Without a doubt, this was a total scam! I’m with Vodafone myself and they accidentally called my work number, trying to tell me I had some retail deal with them. Obviously, I didn’t fall for it and ended the call pretty quickly.

BEWARE! This is a TOTAL SCAM. Loads of folks have reported getting ripped off badly by these dodgy schemes in September alone. These fraudsters are definitely on the increase, so NEVER hand over your personal info or bank details under any circumstances. If you get a suspicious call, message, or letter, make sure you report it to Action Fraud straight away. Also, try posting about it on social media and ask others to spread the word - we’ve seen this really helps stop more people falling victim.
