This number called me earlier. Normally, I don't pick up calls from unknown numbers saved to text only, so I just messaged them to find out who it was. The reply was some automated response, which felt pretty sketchy. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

I had put up an ad on Gumtree for a sound system and this exact number got in touch wanting to hire it. Turns out, it's a total scam. Makes me think about how many others they've managed to cheat.

Got a message from someone about a gumtree ad, wanting to rent and insure it via fatlama. I told them I'd hold off to see if it actually got sold. My kids were taking the piss, saying it sounded like a scam. So I had a quick look on here and sure enough, it was a scam. Cheers to who-called-meI[###] for the heads up!
