Today I got in touch with EDF because my landline was a bit fuzzy. They rang me back on the same landline and that call was crystal clear. They answered all the questions I had. I can't remember the exact times though. Later, I got a text on my mobile from 07481 338540 saying EDF have a new contact number, 0333 006 9950. I’m sure that’s legit as it’s the same number their automated message gives. I reckon the text was just an automatic reply since I’d dialled one of their old numbers, even though I made the call from my landline and the message went to my mobile.

I rang EDF Energy on 0333 200 5100, but some robotic voice was asking for my account number. Right after, I got a text telling me to call +44 7481 338540 🤷🏼‍♀️ Before, when I tried contacting EDF, they sent me a message from +44 7480 589950, which turned out to be a scam! It’s impossible to get through to a real person at EDF to report all these dodgy things. Honestly, I’m done with this company, I can’t be bothered dealing with this mess 👈🏻
