Got a call saying it was from HMRC claiming a letter was sent back and legal steps would be taken. When they connected me to someone, they greeted me with "Welcome to THE QUEEN, Her Majesty Revenue and Consumers." Then asked for my full name, address, DOB, National Insurance, bank details and sort code. Thing is, the Queen passed away in 2022, and we've had a King for the past three years now. I refused to give any info and warned them that if they called me again, I’d be taking legal action. Right after that, they just hung up!
