I answered the phone and immediately got an automated voice saying my account had been hacked and my internet was going to be cut off soon. It told me to press 1 to get more info or 2 to change to another provider. This is a complete scam and absolutely false. Whatever you do, don’t press any numbers or follow their prompts - it could lead to big phone bills. These callers aren’t legit, so never give them any personal details.

Some guy called claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my PC was hacked and telling me to switch it on. I played along for a bit just to annoy him. He ended the call warning that my computer would be locked and unusable. But honestly, it's still running perfectly fine.

Got a call from a robotic voice claiming to be BT, saying our internet would be cut off soon because our info had been hacked in Mexico. I hung up right away, didn’t want to risk anything.

Got a call around 10.15 this morning from someone claiming to be "John Matthew." He said our Sky broadband was hacked by someone down in Mexico and to press 1 to sort it out. Smelt fishy to me, so I told him I was tied up with an important appointment and couldn’t talk right now. He said he’d ring back at 1pm. Well, it’s gone past 2.09pm and still nothing. No shock there!

Got a call from some automated guy claiming to be from BT, saying our internet would get cut off within an hour or two because they said our info got leaked in Mexico. Hung up right away.

Got a robocall saying something like "Is it time to..." and I just hung right up. Anyone know who owns this number? Would be good to report them under GDPR or something.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, said they needed to talk about my computer, then just dropped the call. Pretty annoying.

Got a call saying our Sky TV would be cut off because apparently someone in Mexico was using our IP address. They asked me to press 1 to get put through to the connection team. What a load of rubbish, total scammers!

SCAM ALERT - I GOT A CALL SAYING "BT TECH SUPPORT HERE - YOUR INTERNET SERVICE WILL BE CUT OFF TODAY. PRESS 1 TO SPEAK TO BT OR PRESS 2 TO DISCONNECT." SOUNDS LIKE ONE OF THOSE PREMIUM CHARGE SCAMS WHERE THEY TRY TO GET YOU TO CALL BACK AND CHARGE YOU. BE CAREFUL!
