Got a call from what sounded like an automated message about my Vodafone account possibly being suspended. Problem is, I’m not even a Vodafone customer! I just ended the call and blocked the number. Had a look online and the number hasn’t been in use for like 7 years, so it was definitely a scam.

Got two calls from this number already today. Every time I pick up, there's silence at first, then after a few seconds you can hear like a busy call centre noise before it just cuts off. Not sure if it’s a spammer or what, but pretty weird.

Initially I thought it was just someone trying to sell me something, but now I reckon it’s a scam. If you get a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from a British firm or even HMRC, be careful - it’s probably a scam, honestly! Just a heads up!

I didn’t pick up cause I didn’t know the number and they didn’t bother leaving a message. Seeing how many times this number has been looked up here, I’d say it’s probably just some annoying telemarketer or something like that.
