Got a call from a woman claiming to be from EE, but just so you know, EE never uses mobile numbers to call you. It’s definitely a scam, best to just block the number straight away.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was with EE. Told her I’m not actually a customer with EE and she just ended the call straight away.

Got two calls from this number yesterday, both times sounded like different accents from abroad. They were trying to sell me a discount on my EE phone bill. I checked the number online and turns out it’s a scam. So I’ve blocked it now.

Today I got a phone call from someone claiming to be with EE, saying they could lower my monthly SIM bill. The lady sounded like she wasn't local, had quite an accent. I rang up EE afterwards and they told me they never made that call. Definitely a con!

Got a call a moment ago asking if I was with EE. I kinda guessed it was a scam straight away from the way they spoke, so I said nope, no EE account here. Had a rather unexpected missed call from this number earlier on today. I chose not to return the call.

Just got a call from this number a moment ago and my phone flagged it as ‘Potential Fraud’! I’ve definitely seen ‘Potential Spam’ pop up on other unfamiliar numbers, but this fraud warning was new to me. I ignored the call and didn’t pick up. Now I’m curious if they’ll leave a voicemail. There was also an option on my phone to report the call, which I might use. Let’s see if a message turns up.

Received a call where they uttered nary a word; I greeted them with a "hello," only for the line to mysteriously disconnect. Now I can’t shake the worry that they might have captured my voice-definitely a lesson to keep in mind. When I tried returning the call, it was showing as blocked. A quick search online reveals that this number has raised eyebrows for quite a few others as well. I reckon it might be wise to either remove it from my contacts or delve deeper to find out where it originates from.
