Got a call from an automatic voice saying, “This is Indeed about a job, add me on WhatsApp”, then just dropped the line.

Just received a rather aggressive call about renewing my O2 contract. They were quite insistent! Strangely enough, they already had my name, but I’m not even a customer of O2. How odd!

When I picked up the phone, all I could make out was some rather laboured breathing on the other end.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from o2, sounded dodgy as hell. Thing is, they knew loads about my o2 account which worries me because it makes me think the company’s customer info must’ve been leaked or hacked. So don’t trust anything they say!

Got loads of calls from these numbers over the past week, all saying they’re from O2 and my contract is about to expire. Thing is, it’s not even true. I've counted about 27 calls in 5 days! The numbers are 0121 247 8715, 0121 824 6841, and 020 8089 2362. All of them with the same spiel, so I just blocked them all now. Proper annoying!

Had a call from someone pretending to be O2 about my phone plan. I always send these dodgy numbers to 7726 - it’s a no-cost text service connected to the police and Action Fraud. You just text “Scam”, then paste the suspicious number when asked. Works on all networks and won’t cost you a penny. O2 doesn’t ever phone from regular mobile numbers or hide their caller ID. If you’re unsure, it’s better to contact your provider directly to chat about your account. Never hand over any personal details to these fraudsters.

Beware! Got a call from someone with a strange accent pretending to be O2, trying to talk me into renewing my contract. Always be careful and don’t agree to any money stuff unless you’ve rung them first.

Got a call from someone saying he was Steve, claimed to be from O2, but he had a really strong Indian accent. I just told him it’s a scam and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.

I picked up and there was dead silence for like a full minute, then suddenly they just said bye and hung up.

Had a call from someone saying they were O2, even knew my name and what I pay each month. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t really them because I’ve been in touch with O2 myself and have had loads of calls like that lately. If you’re after a new deal, better ring O2 yourself instead of falling for these scams.

I’ve been getting calls a couple of times daily from someone claiming to be O2. I rang up O2 myself and they told me it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with 02, but I just ended the call and blocked the number right away.
