I received a call from a number I couldn't recognise. Normally, I steer clear of answering calls from unfamiliar numbers, but for some reason, I decided to pick this one up. The person on the other end greeted me with a “Hallo,” but as soon as I responded, they abruptly ended the conversation. Definitely sounds like a spam call to me!

When I get a random cold call, often they hang up before the recorded message even starts. If the message does play, I listen for a bit to tell if it's someone I want to speak with, and if not, I just end the call quickly. Since using this method, I hardly get any scam or cold calls bother me anymore. Seems like the message really works!
