Got a call from someone named Pascal Anderson, whose number I then found linked to a scam site. The photos they showed, apparently of him, were actually of a Russian celebrity. This bloke uses them to chat up women on dating sites. He says he works in the oil business and boasts about landing a contract worth 10.5 million. He also claims he's originally from France but left as a kid. I didn’t stick around to uncover the full scam, but he probably has Croatian or Russian roots. Though he says he’s English, there’s a very noticeable accent.
