Received a text asking me to confirm a payment request by reply or via Lloyd's App. Halifax is part of the same banking group. I've also had a spam call from a different number about the payment.

Got a text first saying Halifax will soon send a message about a payment on my debit card. Then another one asked if I made a payment with my card, to reply YES or NO. They said if I don’t respond, they’ll block any more card payments. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
