Got a phone call from this number today, some bloke with an Asian accent asked me a couple of questions out of nowhere. First he wanted to know if I have a mortgage, then asked about life insurance, he didn’t even get round to the last one. He knew my name, which was a bit off. My phone showed the name John Loudon when they called. The person had an Asian accent and claimed to be ringing from UK healthcare, asking if I was satisfied with my GP. But as soon as I asked them to name my GP, the call ended abruptly.

These calls are driving me mad 😠😠 I get them about 3 times daily, some Asian bloke ringing about debts and claiming the government can clear them. I told him to stop bothering me and remove my details from their list! Then less than an hour later, he rings again. I blocked that number, but sure enough, they just call from another one. I told him I hadn’t been contacted about any survey like that before and that BMA always emails, not calls. After I refused, he said something like “I’m not making you answer,” and then I just hung up.
