Got a call claiming I’d been charged £399.99 for an iPhone from “Amazon.” They said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. Then they asked if I wanted to proceed - so I said yes just to mess with them. Next thing, they told me to go on my computer, download TeamViewer, and give them my ID and password. I figured I’d try to waste their time instead. Managed to keep them on for about 15 minutes before they started shouting insults. Yeah right, definitely a legit Amazon support call! Hopefully, my number’s off their list now.
