Today I got a call from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice and offered to help clear debts. He said his name was Gary Munro. I told him I’d check with my local Citizens Advice bureau first, and then he just ended the call.

This bloke claimed he worked for some credit checking firm. I just told him to stop wasting my time and never ring me again.

I got a call from someone saying they’re from a credit investigations group, checking on some unsecured debts they claim I’m supposedly paying every month. I don’t have any debts like that at all. I flat out told them to leave me alone and hung up.

Got a call today from this number, guy said he was from the Citizen's Advice Bureau. He was talking about helping with an IVA to write off like 70% of debt. Sounds dodgy if you ask me. I didn’t think CAB did random calls out of the blue. He told me his name was Gary Munroe or something.

I picked up, but there was nobody there, and when I tried ringing back, it just wouldn’t connect.

The call stayed quiet for a bit and then just ended abruptly.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a 'credit investigation team' asking questions about a debt I supposedly owed. I'm only 23 and don't have any debts at all. Then, out of nowhere, they just hung up on me.

Lately we've been getting loads of silent or annoying calls, so now every call goes straight to the answerphone where we ask who's calling. This weekend on Saturday morning we got another one of those silent calls. We're pretty sure they've got our number somehow without permission, since we've never shared it and it isn't listed anywhere.
