Definitely a scam - the message was super vague and didn’t even mention which child they were supposedly calling about. Clearly, they haven’t got a clue.

Got a couple of texts sayin "Hey Dad" then "Save my new number, yeah?" I didn’t bother answerin. I’m gay, and if that was my kid, they’d have some kinda miracle story to tell, like somethin’ straight outta the Virgin Mary playbook. So yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s not real.

Got a message on my WhatsApp saying, "Hi Dad," then it just stopped. Tried again and said something about breaking the old phone. They jotted down the new number but then it disappeared from my phone. Now I can't see it on WhatsApp at all. Bit confusing!
