Even tho I’m the first to check this number, I’m pretty sure it’s dodgy. When I answered and gave them my number, a recorded woman with an American accent said it was "Bank Security," but didn’t say which bank. She told me there’d been a £600 charge on my account. Knowing the usual scam stories, I just hung up straight away. I looked up the number here and, even though it hadn’t been reported before, it’s clearly a scam.
