I’ve just had a dodgy message pop up that read: 'Hello, I'm from HR. You've been chosen for a part-time/full-time role. You can rake in as much as 800GBP each day with nothing but a phone. Apply at wa.me/12265511437.' I’ve promptly blocked the number and filed a complaint. Can't be too careful, can we?

I received a rather dodgy text from this number, claiming to be PayPal, stating that I had transferred £2200 to something called Intellect Info Systems LLC with a reference to @PAY.PAL*VIN. They urged me to ring their Customer Care at (+44)800-260-6634 to halt the transaction if I wasn’t the one making the payment! Naturally, I reached out to PayPal directly and they assured me that they hadn’t sent such a notification. Whatever you do, steer clear of this number and avoid clicking any links they may have sent!
