They never rang me, just sent a text saying I’d been near someone who tested positive for covid and to click a link to get a test kit. It looked dodgy straight away. Do not tap that link, it’s definitely a scam. The wording was all wrong too, something like "You have been around someone who has recently postive" - didn’t even spell positive right!

I never got a call, just a text saying I’d been near someone with a positive covid result and to follow a link to purchase a test kit. Pretty sure it’s a total scam. Seriously, don’t click that link. The wording was all over the place too: “You have been around someone who has recently postiv. Please claim you online test kit at www.test-kit-home.com” - it made zero sense and the grammar was terrible. A mate of mine got a similar message from another number, but theirs was written properly. Definitely a scam, stay clear of clicking that link or buying anything from that website.

Has anyone else got calls from this number saying you need to book a paid PCR test because you’ve been near someone who tested positive? Seems like it’s pretending to be from the NHS but I’m worried it might be a scam trying to get money or personal info. Just checking if anyone knows more about this?
