I just got a call from an automated voice saying it was HMRC and that I had some charges pending. It told me to press one to talk to an advisor, so I did. Then a bloke came on and asked for my name. I told him my name was Rosie, but he said no, he needed my name again. I said Rosie once more, and he kept insisting on my name which felt really suspicious. So, I just hung up. Honestly, I don’t think HMRC would ever ring a mobile 07 number like that anyway.

Got a call from some automated voice saying HMR.C sent me a letter. Didn’t let it go on any further. Definitely a scam, best to ignore it.

Got a call from this number earlier, but the sound was awful - loads of crackling and it kept cutting out, making it really hard to understand anything. Honestly, I couldn’t make out what they were trying to say. One thing I did catch was an automated voice saying something like “press 1 for…” right before I ended the call. Not sure if it’s some kind of scam or just a strange robocall. Thought I’d mention it in case someone else gets a call from the same number.
