I received a rather alarming voicemail, supposedly from HMRC, featuring a pre-recorded voice. It urged me to press 1 if I wished to speak with someone about a tax rebate. The tone was quite menacing, suggesting that I needed to comply in order to steer clear of an arrest warrant issued in my name. Quite a nerve-wracking experience, to say the least!
