I purchased some wheels from this individual and transferred £250 into his bank account on 2nd November 2017. He then claimed he dispatched the items but failed to provide any tracking information or courier details. When I requested a refund, he asked for my bank details to process it-but, unsurprisingly, I never saw a penny back. This chap goes by the name of Nicholas Dowell or Nicholas Hewitt, and has a penchant for cars, particularly Alfas. His eBay username is cornishypasty2017-he’s a new member with no feedback to speak of. You can also reach him at [email protected]. I've discovered he's also scammed someone in Darlington on the same day. I've been in touch with that person, and I cannot stress enough: steer clear of this trickster. The police are looking into the matter.
