It began talking in English, but then switched to a Chinese woman’s voice just a few words in.

Got a call from a lady, sounded like she was working in a call centre. She started by asking if I owned the place. I told her if she didn’t even know who I was, she shouldn’t be ringing me up at all, then ended the call.

I asked the woman who called why she needed to check if I owned the house, and she just hung up straight away without saying anything else.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from r2i or something like that (r2integrated.com), saying they’re a marketing firm. She told me we’re registered with the TPS and that she’d take our number off their lists. Thing is, we’ve been on the TPS for yonks, so her story doesn’t add up. If they were using proper data sources, we’d already be blocked from this nonsense. Felt like a load of rubbish to me.
