The call began with an English voice but switched to a female one speaking Chinese after just a few words.

I received a call from a woman, and it was clear she was part of a call centre operation. She inquired whether I was the homeowner. I told her that if she didn't even know my name, it was rather out of order for her to be ringing me, and promptly ended the conversation.

I inquired of the female caller what her interest was in whether I owned the property, and to my surprise, she hung up without uttering a single word.

A woman claimed to represent r2i (r2integrated.com), a marketing firm. She mentioned our registration with the TPS and assured us she’d take us off their list. However, we've been part of the TPS for yonks, so this seems rather dubious. If they were truly using credible data providers, our number would have been barred by now! Quite the nonsense if you ask me.

This number keeps dialing my phone, but when I answer, there’s utter silence on the other end. All I can hear is a cacophony of indistinct chatter in the background. Definitely sounds like some sort of call centre nonsense.
