So I had a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach saying my IP address switched from private to public recently and that it might cause issues with my internet. I found it odd because BT Openreach usually don’t call from mobile numbers, but this one did. When I mentioned this, the caller said something about using VOIP. Then when I pointed out it was a mobile number, they just hung up on me. We run a business and get a lot of calls from BT Openreach, but none come from mobiles like this. Definitely fishy.
