Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying there was some issue with my internet, that my IP address was public instead of private. The person wanted me to look up a website on Google so they could guide me step by step. I told them I’d sort it out later and reach out to BT if I needed help, but they warned me my internet would be cut off. The phone number they called from definitely wasn’t a BT one.
