Got a call but ignored it. Later, an automated message popped up saying I need to pay something and to press 1. Decided to block the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Tax Office, threatening me with jail time unless I paid up with gift cards. Honestly, had to chuckle at that old trick - total scam, watch out!

Just got a call that cut off right when I picked up. Sounds like another dodgy phishing attempt. Bet I'll be getting more calls from Sky, Microsoft, HMRC, and some internet companies soon enough. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.
