Got a call with an automated voice saying it was from HMRC, demanding immediate action or else legal steps would follow. It told me to press 1 to talk to someone, but I didn’t press anything. Since HMRC offices are closed today, I couldn’t check for sure, but I haven't received any letters, emails or messages through their online system, so I'm thinking it’s a scam. When I tried ringing the number back, it said the number isn’t registered. Then, about 20 minutes later, they rang me again.
