I got a call from someone claiming to be the tax office, saying I’ll face legal action because they apparently had a letter get sent back to them. Bit worrying, but I’m not sure if it’s legit.

Be careful, this is a total SCAM. Loads of folks have lost a ton of money to these dodgy schemes recently, especially in September. The number of these scams seems to be increasing, so please, don’t ever hand over your personal info or bank details. If you get a suspicious call, text, or letter, report it to Action Fraud straight away.
